Hello, I’m Claire Newell, Founder and Owner of Body ReNewell Health & Wellness Clinic.

I am, and always have been, passionate about providing a space where people can feel relaxed, rejuvenated and renewed.

For years, it’s been my dream to have a clinic within the Countryside that offers amazing, healing therapies. But more than that, my mission is to help people help themselves, by educating and encouraging people to listen to their bodies, I empower people to take charge of their own health and wellbeing.

The pandemic (as well as lady luck) allowed me to turn my dream into a reality and moved my clinic premises to the Beautiful Barn we now have the pleasure to work from.

Some people thought I was crazy to take on a new project and premises during the pandemic, But not a single part of me regrets taking that decision to realise my dream and I feel truly blessed that I can continue to help people lead happy and healthy lives in our beautiful countryside setting.

My Background

I’ve always been fascinated by the human body and how we move. At school, I loved sport and nutrition and with two football-mad brothers, I harboured dreams of being the physio for Manchester United!
I went on to do a diploma in Fitness Training and Sports Therapy and I have continued studying various massage modalities throughout the years I have been practicing.

I did end up working with professional footballers (sadly not Man Utd players) which was a good foundational and learning experience, and now you will find me working with people from all walks of life.
I always love to see the transformation that the people I work with witness. The last few years I have been spent gaining a deeper understanding of how the body stores stress. By studying the nervous system, I’m able to help people combat tension in the body and prolong the benefits of treatment and means that I am also a Trauma Informed Body therapist. To know I can make a difference to the way a client sees themself and how they feel in their body makes my heart sing!

I am forever continuing my professional development by staying up to date on current trends and I have several mentors who support me.
